15.6.1  Matrix of a quadratic form

The q2a command finds the matrix corresponding to a quadratic form.

• q2a takes two arguments:
  • q, the symbolic expression of a quadratic form q.
  • vars, a vector of variable names.
• q2a(q,vars) returns the matrix of the quadratic form q.
